Haloween Howl 5km Fun Run
On Friday, October 24, 2014 at Boulevard Lake, Fresh Air Experience presents the inaugural Halloween Howl 5km Night Fun Run/Walk in support of Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers. This event will bring together a families, friends and coworkers all with a common goal, to have fun, keep fit and raise money to help keep our community safe.
Crime Stoppers is a community run charity program that does not receive any government funding to support the ability for the program to operate and pay rewards to tipsters who assist solving crime in Thunder Bay. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to ensure the program continues to run successfully.
The buzz that has been circulating since we decided to host this night time fun run has us very optimistic that this first year event will be well received and we hope to grow on it every year. It is going to be quite the night with ghost and goblins and all the other creative costumed runners participate in this event. It is going to be a night to remember!
In order to make sure this event is a success, we are looking for sponsors to provide prizes for our awards that will be given to the top three adult costumes, to three youth costumes and of course the top three fundraisers. We would like to request that you help us reach our goal and make this a Spooookacular event!
