Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving a robbery of a taxi driver that occurred during the early morning of June 2, 2015.

Just after 1:00 a.m. the taxi picked up two males in the parking lot of Tim Horton’s on Queen Street and Memorial Ave.  The driver was enroute to a Georgina Ave address when the male in the back seat put a knife to his throat and held it to the driver’s throat and demanded his wallet.  The driver complied and continued to take the males to the drop off location.  Once they arrived the driver was ordered out of the car and told to walk down Mary Street. Once the driver was a distance from his car, the males ran away and the driver was able to get back to his car to call for assistance.  He was unarmed.

The suspects are described as Native Canadian males approximately 20 to 25 years of age.  Both are about 5’8” tall with thin builds wearing Black Adidas jackets with the three white stripes down the arms, baggy pants and baseball caps.
